It was an interesting gig at Sunningdale last night with The J45s. Good turnout although the rear of the venue was packed where punters preferred to listen to the band from a distance. Perhaps this was due to my orange amp picking up some music radio interference (sounding like ‘Achy Breaky Heart’).
However, the band settled quickly into their stride, riding a warm reception from the crowd. The four long-time incumbents are joined on stage in the second half by Lamb Bristow singing ‘Big Boss Man’ and ‘Walking the Dog.’
The climax ended by performing ‘House of The Rising Sun’ which morphed into high energy heavy rock.
